Location and site development
The TPH is located in the center of Berlin between Brunnenstraße, Ackerstraße and Volkspark Humboldthain. Two major developments for commercial space are currently being planned:
Quartier Am Humboldthain
On the site of the old Nixdorf building on Gustav-Meyer-Allee, the largest commercial development within the Berlin S-Bahn ring, the Quartier Am Humboldthain, is currently being built on 6.5 hectares and with approx. 234,000 m². Together with citizens, politicians, the administration of the Berlin Mitte district and the state of Berlin, a development plan has been under development since 2021, and the realization of the DGNB Platinum pre-certified district is planned from 2025.
Voltarium
A new innovation quarter is also being built to the south of Voltastrasse: The Voltarium. In the middle of its neighborhood in Gesundbrunnen, it offers almost 60,000 m² of rentable space, divided into a four-part building ensemble. The new building combines the existing buildings with innovative new and extension buildings in timber hybrid construction.
The business network Technologie-Park Humboldthain e.V. has been in negotiations with the state of Berlin since 2023 for the relaunch of a start-up center in the center of Berlin.
