Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH
Berlin is the third-largest airport location in Germany.
In 2024, around 25.5 million passengers used the airport, 10.4 percent more than in 2023. In 2019 there were 35.6 million passengers. Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) currently operates BER with two terminals (Terminals 1 and 2).
In addition to securing the long-term air traffic infrastructure for the capital region, the company's task is to develop the existing commercial airports as required.
The Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH is owned by the public sector.

Airlines and destinations
In the summer of 2025, the Berlin airport will be served by 70 airlines, offering about 150 destinations in 50 countries on four continents. Toronto will be added as a new long-haul destination in June 2025.
