The Berlin Chamber of Commerce and Industry

The Berlin Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK) represents the interests of Berlin's business community. Its close relationship with actual working businesses allows it to fulfill the duties conferred upon it by the Land of Berlin efficiently and without red tape, especially where the professional training and credentials for employees of Berlin companies are concerned.

As the expert partner dialoging with the Senate, House of Representatives and government agencies on all matters concerning the city’s economy, it is an organization that serves the public interest without being subject to state directives. Beyond that, it is a service provider for Berlin companies, lending support when they have questions of problems. The IHK offers its member companies competent, customer-oriented service

In six management fields, around 400 experts are available to provide comprehensive professional consulting and assistance.

Their work is supported by the optimal environment in the highly functional, state-of-the-art facilities at the Ludwig Erhard Haus, where the IHK offices are located.
