The International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) is a non-profit educational foundation that develops school programs and offers them worldwide. One of these programs is the IB Diploma, a secondary degree enjoying an excellent reputation at universities and colleges worldwide, which recognize it as evidence of readiness for university-level education. The tests are administered centrally for all IB students throughout the world. In addition to English, there are schools that offer the test in Spanish and French.
The International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) is one of the most widely recognized secondary education certificates worldwide. This qualification forms a foundation for higher-level courses, such as A and AS Level, Advanced International Certificate of Education, the North American Advanced Placement Program and the International Baccalaureate. Students must register for the IGCSE through a certified CIE Center, like the Swiss International School Berlin (SIS).
GCE Advanced (A) Level is also among the most widely recognized qualifications worldwide. A Levels have been accepted as a university and college entrance qualification for over 50 years. Students must register for the A Level and AS Level Exams through a certified CIE Center.
