The 200 largest employers, "Berlin's top 200," which are determined in an annual survey by the Berliner Morgenpost, increased their workforce in 2017 by 2,9%. This confirms that the positive trend of recent years continues. Up to 3,425 new jobs will be created this year.
Berlin's largest employer comes from the transport sector: with its 20,770 employees, Deutsche Bahn is still in first place followed by Charité (17,527 employees), the Vivantes Network for Health (16,136 employees) and BVG (14,589 employees). Siemens is now in 5th place with 11,600 employees.
