Automotive Networks in the Capital Region
automotive BerlinBrandenburg aBB
The platform “automotive Berlin-Brandenburg aBB” is a forum for automobile industry in the regionto present itself. Berlin and Brandenburg's business development agencies, Berlin Partner GmbH and the Zukunftsagentur Brandenburg (ZAB), are active as project partners and advisers to the member companies. Mid-sized companies will be able to develop new technologies and products faster if they collaborate in networks. One important resource for this kind of cooperation is the “carnet” database, which provides information about companies in the region that are active in the sector of automobile-specific technologies.
“We are currently working closely with Daimler AG in Berlin-Marienfelde to identify suppliers of raw parts, and the network provided by automotive Berlin-Brandenburg is a key part of the search strategy. This goes beyond general statements of intention; rather, we are faced with very specific demands. In addition to suppliers for raw parts, Daimler AG needs other products: testing and measurement equipment, loading equipment, warehouse equipment - all things that Daimler AG intends to procure from local suppliers.“
