Marzahn-Hellersdorf is green and urban, versatile and economically strong, and environmentally and family friendly. Here in the northeast of Berlin, about 260,000 people live in an area of 6,200 ha.

Marzahn-Hellersdorf, together with the neighboring district Lichtenberg, has the largest industrial area in Berlin.
